In the Middle Primary, we further nurture and develop the learning and attitudes the students have gained in Junior Primary. Our goal is to support students to develop a positive mindset towards their next steps and to make them successful throughout the remainder of their school years, and beyond.
Learning
Through the implementation of the Australian Curriculum, we support children’s social skills and emotional maturity, with the goal to make them resilient students and valuable members of our school and local community. There is a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy, through the implementation of programs including InitiaLit, and Department for Education endorsed units of work.
Digital Technologies
Due to the importance of digital literacy in the 21st Century, students in Middle Primary are given opportunities to develop these lifelong skills. Students will get the opportunity to work collaboratively and independently with laptops & iPads, using a range of exciting and engaging programs, such as 3D modelling software.
Camps & Excursions
In the Middle Primary we develop independence and resilience through the participation in excursions and single night camps. These events are developed to create safe and inclusive experiences that are rich with learning.
